Under the action of the gas pressure, the pressure to the side with the smaller cross-sectional area is generated, that is, the elastic force of the pneumatic rod. When a person sits up and puts pressure on the lifting shaft, the lifting shaft descends gently, with uniform speed, and can be lowered to the lowest point. No external force is applied to the lifting shaft, and the lifting shaft rises to the highest point.

This kind of gas spring can stop at any position in the stroke with the help of a release device, and has a great locking force after stopping (can reach more than 10000N).

The hydraulic jack of the key part of the hydraulic chair lift is driven by the manpower to drive the hydraulic pump, which is driven by the hydraulic system, and the cylinder or piston is used as the lifting member. Hydraulic jacks can be divided into integral type and separate type. The integral pump is connected with the hydraulic cylinder into a whole; the separate pump is separated from the hydraulic cylinder, and the middle is connected with a high-pressure hose. The hydraulic jack has a compact structure, can lift heavy objects steadily, and has a high transmission efficiency, so it is widely used.


But it is easy to leak oil, and it is not suidesk to support heavy objects for a long time. If self-locking jacks are required for long-term support, screw jacks and hydraulic jacks can be made into multi-stage telescopic types to further reduce the profile height or increase the lifting distance.
